Linda Griffin

Class of 1967 | 2026 Hall of Fame

Linda Griffin, a proud member of the Goshen High School Class of 1967, has dedicated much of her life to serving others through her career and community involvement. While at Goshen High School, she was an active student participating in basketball, track, volleyball, baseball, Student Council, Language Arts Club, and Prom Committee. She was also named a Senior Favorite.

Following graduation, Linda played women’s basketball at Eastern Kentucky University before beginning a nursing career that would span more than 40 years. She earned her RN Associate Degree from Southern State Community College in 1993, where she also served as President of the National Honor Society. Her dedication to patient care led to her role as Hospice Director in Florida from 2003–2007. She was named Employee of the Year at Hope Hospice in 2006.

Linda has remained deeply committed to giving back. In 2010, she established the Bruce Griffin Memorial Scholarship in memory of her brother who was the first Clermont County resident killed in action during the Vietnam War. The scholarship has awarded more than $35,000 to Goshen High School students. She also founded the annual Memorial Day Hometown Heroes Community Picnic & Cruise-In, which supports the scholarship.

Through volunteer work with the Goshen United Methodist Church, the Wounded Warrior Project, Matthew 25 Ministries, and her Happy Feet Project, which provides shoes to children in need, Linda continues to make a lasting impact. Her lifelong dedication to service reflects the very best of the Goshen High School community.
